Let me start out by saying if you've never been to the islands, IT'S A MUST!! We visited the island of Kauai, Hawaii and didn't spend any time with the normal tourist attractions, but instead explored the inner jungles and swamps of this beautiful place on our own - what an experience!

| We were up by 5:00am and out the door by 6:00am every morning (sunrise). |  |
 | Immediately we upgraded to a 4x4 and definitely got our money's worth, and then some! We explored all the roads that were posted DANGER KEEP OUT - those were the fun ones! Here, I got stuck and almost tipped this bad boy on its side... AWESOME! |
| We soon found ourselves in the midst of deep forests... |  |
 | ...to deep canyons... |
| ...and among some of the most beautiful rivers and lakes! |  |
